https://launch.charityrepublic.com/browsing/opportunities/18
Are you a social butterfly? Enjoy meeting new people and helping them find ways to get involved in their community? This is the role for you!
At Volunteer MBC, one of our key roles is to help connect people who want to volunteer with the community agencies who are looking for volunteers. This role plays an integral role in making that happen!
Either at a display at a volunteer fair, or to a group giving a presentation, your role is to help inspire people to become more engaged and help them understand how Volunteer MBC will support them in their journey.
As an Outreach Ambassador, we will ask you for a few things:
- Responding to presentation requests from Volunteer MBC
- Provide presentations and/or displays at specific locations throughout Peel Region (Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon)
- Be able to answer questions from the public and refer individuals back to Volunteer MBC, where appropriate
- Present an overview to Volunteer MBC and the importance of volunteering to various groups (i.e. youth, older adults, newcomers, etc.)
- Be a voice for volunteerism in the community
- Bring your enthusiasm and interest in volunteering to the community and have fun being a part of this dynamic team!
